Service & Emotional Support Animals

Under the Florida and U.S. Fair Housing Acts, housing facilities, including condominium and homeowner’s associations, are required to allow service and emotional support animals for individuals that have a disability to allow for the equal opportunity to use and enjoy their residence. Additionally, under Florida anti-discrimination laws, as well as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), individuals who have a disability are permitted to bring their service animals to all "public accommodations”, such as restaurants, museums, hotels, and stores. Our firm has significant experience representing both individuals and companies to navigate these evolving issues.
